Город Требуемый опыт работы з/п не указана Киев более 6 лет Responsibilities: Responsible for resource allocation to ensure engineers with the right skill sets are assigned to appropriate client projects while ensuring adequate project staffing Track and report on resource utilization identifying any resource imbalances and meeting team’s billable utilization goals Lead team-building efforts and where applicable facilitate cross functional team-building to cultivate collaboration and cooperation between functional groups Lead and grow the technology organization building a highly professional and motivated group Create a solution-oriented and thinking culture in engineering Manage and mentor all members of the engineering team Provide leadership on internal projects guiding and directing resources facilitating cross-departmental collaboration and ensuring delivery of results Collaborate with other engineering managers to ensure consistency and alignment between engineering groups Responsible for implementing managing and refining software development life cycle processes for the delivery of multiple and concurrent customer projects Ensure the adherence to organizationally defined technical practices and procedures Collaborate with project and account managers to prioritize customer deliverables and to deliver projects on time on budget while meeting/exceeding customer expectations Provide proactive technical counsel to project leadership staff to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical understanding and communication Put in place sound processes for the engineering team creating an organization that builds high-performing solutions in a timely and repeatable manner Implement a repeatable methodology for development/testing including adequate tools and training Collaborate with management on the technical vision for the organization working to achieve the best technical solutions for the customers’ needs End-to-end technical process/methodology owner. Specific responsibilities : Monitor proactively customers’ hardware and software infrastructure. Timely acknowledge and resolve customer incidents; communicate with and service the external company users. Review analyze and determine the types of resolution or escalation paths for the incidents/cases according to the Knowledge Base instructions and procedures. Properly escalate incidents to the appropriate level of Technical Service Support Team. Perform activities prescribed in the Knowledge Base regarding the known error situations in order to restore user services in the shortest time possible. Communicate with other Support Team members and development team in order to track and resolve current issues. Report on the results of the work performed to the Team supervisor. Qualifications/Skills: Unix-based systems administration skills Experience with Linux Windows OS Experience with monitoring systems operations General network administration knowledge Relational database SQL knowledge Basic HTML XML Perl knowledge English language at intermediate level as a minimum Shell scripting is a strong plus Additional Information: The candidate will be located in a busy open area office. The candidate will face the necessity to focus constantly on the current operations. 12 hrs work shift schedule is as follows: 1 week day shift 1 week off 1 week night shift 1 week off.
